About the Hawaiian language:

Hawaiian is a Polynesian language spoken in Hawai'i by around 24,000 people, mostly ethnic Hawaiians. Hawaiian is one of the two official languages of the State of Hawaii, alongside English. Hawaiian is an endangered language, although a language revitalization program has had considerable success. The Hawaiian alphabet consists of five vowels and eight consonants.
